Schools in France
In France, admission to the schools is by selective entrance examination. It is also advisable to take a year of preparatory courses beforehand (biology and French). After three years of study, students are awarded a Diplôme d'Etat de Psychomotricien.
Working in Luxembourg
Getting started in Luxembourg
As there is no psychomotricity training in Luxembourg, you must have obtained your diploma abroad. This means that you must first apply to the MENJE for recognition of your professional qualifications!
Licensing
To apply for licensure, the following documents are required
Licensing application form
A copy of an identity document
An extract from the criminal record of the country of residence, less than 3 months old
Prepayment of a fee of 75 euros

Working in the private sector
There are 2 possibilities:
- CNS reimbursement
- Reimbursement by the ONE: At present, only treatments for early orthopedic interventions (0-8 years) are reimbursed by the ONE.
For treatments involving patients aged over 8 years, a refusal of treatment by the CNS is mandatory in order to be able to submit a claim for reimbursement to the ONE.

How do I become a psychomotrician?
Psychomotricity studies take place after obtaining a high school diploma (or equivalent) and last 3 years. Training is available in several French-speaking countries: France, Belgium and Switzerland.
